the price
the only reason i picked the hotel was because of the price and the fact that there was wifi. my wife was travelling alone thru oman and the only way there was for us to communicate was thru the internet. needless to say the internet was not working i made several attempts to call the hotel after 9 different calls someone finally answered the phone only for them to tell me they will call me back and hang up the phone. i made several more attempts to call and they would just pick up the phone and hang it up. the bathroom and toliet area were disgusting. i paid 25 bd for one night i would much rather spend the extra 10 bd and put her somewhere nice. i will never recommend anyone to stay at your hotel!

My room on the 2nd Floor was a comfortable, even cozy place to be during an overnight thunderstorm.
It is not so conveniently located just off the exit ramp of Nizwa Road, accessible from Clocktower Roundabout only! Getting there from other direction (squ) was problematic, partly because I did not remember having seen it, and partly, as I had to go off-road, through the Al Malaaweh Market and back onto Nizwa Road to get there. The receptionist was not answering his gsm as it was off when I was desperately lost at first. It just never occurred to me that the hotel would be practically on the off-ramp itself!

The price was good for the hotel. But it is very much away from the city. No shops or taxi near.
Water leakage in the bathroom, even the hotel is new.

The rooms of the hotel are okay but the services were zero, since the restaurant was under reconstruction. This means no diner, no breakfast. For diner there was a kind of home delivery Omani-around-the-corner who served decent food (to be taken to your room). For breakfast there was just nothing. Neither existed the possibility to pay with credit card. Rather unfriendly staff refused to return my passport until I paid my bill (cash). A rather unpleasant experience.

staff was very friendly, but could not assure a good stay (see below)
Hotel is very new, but not finished yet! Roof-top restaurant not opened, water lecking in the bathroom, old chewing gum and old soap on top of the shower cabin, toilet is much too close to the washing baisin. No Mini-Bar and no chance to buy water in the hotel. Very loud, windows are not noise isolated. After complaining the staff was really helpful and apologized many times - but of course they could not do really much. The location is in the middle of nowhere, might be that there is more to come in future. 5 minutes to the airpot is very ambitious. in the end - nice people, but the concept is not finished.

The only good thing about my stay was that one of the staff gave me a ride to the airport in his own car because they do not have an airport shuttle.
There was construction going on all around the airport, so it was very difficult to get to. There are absulutely no services within walking distance. When I arrived, the staff at the desk didn't help me out when the taxi driver was trying to cheat me and charge me a ridiculous fare. Finally, there was no airport shuttle, which is listed as a service on Booked.net. this was one of my primary reasons for choosing this hotel. My worst hotel experience ever!
